Fin de la Inocencia (by Jorge Calvo)

This chilean book makes you go through different places of Santiago, you can distinguish each street that the author has described. It is divided into stories and each one talks about different points of view, to say it somehow. What I mean is that each story tells us about somebody different, but he/she is related to somebody else.
The main character is not clear, because in each story there is a new main character, the themes shown on the book, are about: cheating on somebody, or what one person lived. In some cases, a wife was cheating on his husband with the gardener, in others a boyfriend was cheating on his girlfriend one month before the wedding, and other a woman was raped by the main character’s father in times of dictatorship.
The relationship between characters changes in each story, because, as I explained before, there are diferent stories. The thing that each of the stories have in common is that, or the characters were friends (or not) that had sex, or they were people living (or talking about) the dictatorship period.
Each story tells something about the dictatorship and what kind of problems happened in that period. At the book, the dictatorship is seen as a bad moment, but it shows that, even though it was a negative period for a big group of people, it was considered positive for others, the ones that had money.
The thing is that the author wants to show us that there are too many things that makes us losing our innocence. Of course, we are not mature completely, there are always topics that we don´t know about, and discovering them, makes us to lose our inocence.
This is a really weird book. It makes you think about what you have lived, and how innocent you are...

Visual DNA test...

In my opinion this test is very accurate in what it is said on it. The weirdest things that this test has are the questions; some of them are very strange, but very accurate (as I said before). Even though it is an interesting test, it does not say too much about how the person is, but, of course, a test cannot say something like that.
Looking at the starts, I would say that my choices are not the ones that the majority of people regularly choose. What is more, the majority of them are the ones that people do not choose very often.
This website is a very interesting place to learn about what you really like or dislike, but I do not think that it is a good way to help people to understand themselves. If you need help to understand yourself it is better another type of analysis. It could be a good choice to spend more time doing things that you really like, or giving you the time that you need to be by your own.
As it was mentioned, the test is interesting and funny, but we cannot think about it as if it was true, because even though in my case it was everything true, there are cases in which everything is wrong.

my studies...

When I started my studies I felt interested in study English, I loved it, and I still love it. The thing is that at the university we have too many teachers, some great teachers, and others not so much. I really feel that some teachers have disapointed me, and that have affected my english learning. I understand that my learning process is my responsibility, and I have to study more if I feel that I haven't learnt what I have to learn, but if I have bad teachers (in terms of teaching) it doesn't help at all. unfortunately if I talk about it with people who are responsible of it they don't do what they have to do. It disapointed me, because I'm talking about an university that is forming teachers, but they have bad teachers, how can it help?
